Poblano

  • A poblano is a large, very dark-green pepper that’s spicier than a bell pepper but not as spicy as a jalapeno.
  • As with most peppers, most of a poblano’s heat resides in the seeds or white ribs, which can be removed if desired.
  • Poblanos, when dried, are called anchos.
